This was probably the wettest I've ever gotten on a log flume ride. My whole family of 4 sat together in the same boat and got absolutely soaked. I remember next to nothing about Dudley Do Right the cartoon but really enjoyed the theming. I love the drops that take your stomach away. VelociCoaster was great.ĭudley Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls - I know, I know. 0-50 in 2 seconds! It had a good amount of air time. The launches were awesome (I love launched coasters). However, I did ride it at night and to me, all coasters are better at night, and I rode front row with my 7 year old. Now, I only rode VelociCoaster once, so it could grow on me. It's just that the Hulk and Hagrids were that good, better than I was expecting. This #3 ranking isn't a let down or an indictment of the VelociCoaster. Before riding this ride, I thought for sure it would be number 1. Could possibly rank in my top 10 all-time coasters list. 0-40mph in 2 seconds while going uphill with a top speed of 67 mph while listening to a specially created soundtrack? Yes, please. The Incredible Hulk Coaster - Who doesn't love the Hulk? The theming is great (that's going to get redundant) and the story that you're transforming into the Hulk along with the launched lift hill out of the tunnel and the iconic Hulk scream is incredible. This would be top 10 in my all-time coaster list. Typically, the best coasters require taller ride heights but not so with Hagrids. Best of all, my youngest child (48") was tall enough to ride so we all got to ride as a family. The smooth banking of the turns, the nice drop down out of the Devil's Snare. The 7 launches propelling you forward to dry you off from those awesome water rides are great. The motorcycle and sidecar train cars are awesome. Hagrids Motorbike - The theming here was excellent. *Edited to push the list down a little so you don't see it as soon as you open the post. I made sure to watch exactly zero videos and avoid reading any descriptions or ride stats about Hagrids Motorbike before we went and the surprises while riding were awesome. *Spoiler Alert - Don't read my explanations of my list if you've never ridden the rides and don't want any giveaways about the rides and theming. My list will obviously be horribly incorrect compared to yours so feel free to let me have it, just keep it clean :) I also want to point out that Universal has the best parent swap system I've ever used. The theming is, after all, a huge part of the Universal experience and blew me away. I'm not just ranking the ride but also the queue and the theming of the ride. I will rank my top 10 then provide an explanation for each below the list. My family and I are avid theme park and coaster fans but again, this was our first visit to Universal Orlando. We rode every ride in IOA and Studios except Poseidon's Fury and Caro-Seuss-el because both of those were closed for our entire trip. We stayed for 7 days and visited all 3 parks. Yesterday, I made a post with a review from our experience as first time visitors to Universal Orlando.
